Specific Admission Requirements
To get 55 point in ALES To get 50 points in written exam, interview or practice exam which are made by department’s faculty members To total point calculate according to 50% points of the ALES, 20% of the GPA of the bachelor, 30% of the exams which are made by department’s faculty members Taking minimum 50 point in the departments’ exam is mandotary
Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal)
Full-time students can be exempted from some courses within the framework of the related by laws.
Qualification Requirements and Regulations
Students have to complete 7 lecture, 1 seminar and thesis to complete the program. The credit points can’t be less than 21 credits and more than 24 credits. 1.Students will be able to use correct forms of the concepts in a disciplinary field of curriculum and instruction. 2. Students will be able to understand the impact of philosophical and scientific foundations upon curriculum. 3. Students will be able to attribute the conceptual foundations of theories and approaches of learning and teaching. 4.Students will be able to prepare a curriculum design according to principles and criteria in cooperation. 5. Students will be able to carry out curriculum development work in an institution or subject area. 6.Students will be able to evaluate a program according to scientific principles. 7.Students will be able to conduct and/or publish scientific studies in a disciplinary field of curriculum and instruction. 8.Students will be able to voluntarily look for actual applications, national and international publications in a disciplinary field of curriculum and instruction. 9. Students will be able to prioritize scientific method and ethical principles while discussing professional issues and conducting studies. 10.Students will be able to have willingness to conduct scientific study in a disciplinary field of curriculum and instruction. 11.Students will be able to appreciate curriculum specialty as a professional identity.
Profile of The Programme
In successful completion of the program requirements, one receives the degree of MSc in Curriculum and Instruction.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples
The purpose of this program, training programs and teaching knowledge, skills and attitudes, with knowing and applying rules of ethics of the profession, following the developments in the profession, to carry out scientific research level, to train experts who know the techniques of statistical and scientific research.
Access to Further Studies
The graduates of this program can apply to Ph.D. programs to enhance their academic skills and their career.
Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
(1) A student has to attend at least 70 per cent of the courses he has added. (2) In one semester, there must at least be two measurements of success. One of these must be a written exam by all means at the discretion of relevant faculty member. In case of on written examination, the other assessment could be an assignment, project, laboratory report or similar kinds of assessment. (3) At the end of the semester, a final exam on the entire course is administered. Achievement grade is calculated taking the work during the semester with a percentage between 40 and 60 and the final exam with a percentage between 60 and 40 into consideration.
